Last updated: September 2025

Welcome to Syrup Cocktail Lounge (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By entering our venue, making a booking, or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and professional experience for all our guests.

1. General Information

Business Name: Syrup Cocktail Lounge

Trading Address: 24 Oxford Road, Denham, UB9 4DQ

Contact: bookings@syrupbarlounge.com

Syrup Cocktail Lounge operates in accordance with all relevant UK licensing, food safety, and health & safety laws.

2. Age Restrictions

You must be 18 years or older to purchase or consume alcohol at Syrup Cocktail Lounge.

We operate a Challenge 25 policy — valid photo ID (passport, driving licence, or PASS card) is required upon request.

Guests under 18 are not permitted on the premises after 7:00 PM.

3. Reservations and Bookings

Reservations can be made via our website, email, or by phone.

For larger groups, events, or peak times, a deposit may be required to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Please notify us of any cancellations or amendments at least 48 hours in advance.

We reserve the right to amend or cancel bookings in the event of unforeseen circumstances, including operational or safety concerns.

4. Dress Code and Behaviour

Smart casual dress is encouraged. Entry may be refused for unsuitable attire at the discretion of management.

We maintain a respectful environment — abusive, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Management reserves the right to refuse entry or service to anyone under the influence of excessive alcohol or drugs.

Guests are responsible for personal belongings; Syrup Cocktail Lounge accepts no liability for lost or stolen items.

5. Private Hire and Events

Private hire bookings are subject to a formal hire agreement, detailing fees, capacities, and timing restrictions.

Any external entertainment, décor, or catering must be pre-approved by management.

The hirer assumes full responsibility for their guests’ conduct and any damage to the property or equipment.

6. Food Allergies and Dietary Requirements

Please inform staff of any allergies or dietary requirements prior to ordering.

While every effort is made to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any item is entirely allergen-free.

Ingredient details are available upon request.

7. Payments and Service Charge

We accept major debit and credit cards; cash payments are also accepted.

A discretionary 12.5% service charge may be added to your bill — this goes directly to our team.

All prices include VAT at the applicable rate unless otherwise stated.

For private bookings or events, full payment may be required in advance.

8. Venue Safety and Liability

Guests must adhere to all health, safety, and fire regulations displayed on site or advised by staff.

CCTV is in operation throughout the premises for your safety.

Syrup Cocktail Lounge does not accept responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss of property unless due to proven negligence.

9. Alcohol Service and Licensing

Alcohol will not be served to intoxicated persons in accordance with UK licensing laws.

Guests may not bring their own alcohol onto the premises without prior agreement (e.g., corkage arrangement).

Alcohol may not be removed from the venue unless sealed and pre-approved.

10. Photography and Marketing

Photography and videography may occur during events for marketing purposes.

Please notify a member of staff if you prefer not to be included in promotional content.

11. Complaints and Feedback

We aim to deliver exceptional service at all times.

Any complaints should be raised with the Duty Manager during your visit or by emailing bookings@syrupbarlounge.com

All complaints will be acknowledged within 10 working days.
